Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the Supreme Person, Krishna Himself, appearing as His own devotee, to teach us that we can gain full enlightenment simply by chanting the holy names of the Lord:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare/
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

The present-day International Society for Krishna Consciousness continues the work begun by Lord Chaitanya, who predicted that the chanting of the holy names of Krishna would spread all over the world.

**SEMINAR** Exploring the art of chanting - Saturday- February 25th,2017

** SPECIAL** Celebration of Appearance Day of Lord Nityananda - February 8th,2017

About Lord Nityananda(fasting till Noon):
"Nitya means eternal.Ananda means pleasure.Material pleasure is not eternal.As living entities,we are searching after pleasure.But the pleasure we are seeking is flickering n temporary.Real pleasure is Nityananda cause its eternal.Anybody,who has no contact with Nityananda,his life is spoiled,it is to be considered."
(Srila prabhupada,Los Angeles,january 31,1969)

He appeared in 1474 in the village of Ekachakra, now in West Bengal. Lord Nityananda always served Lord Chaitanya in any way. His beauty was so enchanting and He was so full of ecstatic love for Krishna that, wherever He moved, crowds of people would follow and become lovers of God.
To celebrate Lord Nityananda's appearance day is an important function for devotees of Krishna because without the mercy of Lord Nityananda it is very difficult to make advancement in spiritual life.

Appearance Of Lord Nityananda
Celebration on Wednesday,Feb 8 at 7pm

Lord Sri Krishna, as the Vedic literature ultimately explains, is the absolute Personality of Godhead, and His first expansion in a form for pastimes is Sri Balarama. In the age of Kali-yuga, Lord Krishna appears in this material world as Lord Caitanya, and Balarama appears as Lord Nityananda. Lord Nityananda  is the spiritual brother of Lord Caitanya.He has descended to assist Lord Caitanya in spreading the chanting of the holy names of Lord Krishna in harinama-sankirtana, and to bring the mercy of Lord Krishna to all the fallen, materially conditioned souls.
